Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2612

How dare Carrie seduce Callum secretly?

While Callum looked like a gentleman, it was simply an act. None of the York men were truly gentle. Instead, they were ruthless. Callum was only nice to Trenton because he loved Camryn.

However, he would never be soft-hearted toward Carrie.

Callum probably did not do anything to her because Camryn did not want him to butt in. Camryn must have wanted to solve her family issues on her own. Otherwise, Carrie would have died without knowing how she was killed, without the slightest chance to make a fuss at the Newman’s villa.

Carrie was definitely jealous of Camryn’s comfortable life now.

When Trenton raised his head to apologize to Camryn, he realized that she had already gone inside and was no longer in front of him.

He was so engrossed in his thoughts that he did not notice her leaving.

Trenton could not bring himself to walk into the house. He stood there, feeling like his legs were filled with lead.

He felt apologetic toward Camryn. His mercy was the cause of the issue.

Camryn was surely disappointed in him. Callum was enraged, and Carrie did not gain anything out of her attempt. On the contrary, she got frightened and was hit by several dishes thrown by Callum. Trenton knew that her back was injured.

In truth, Camryn did not even have the time to be disappointed in Trenton. She had to console her man first.

When she returned inside, Callum was no longer in the kitchen. Breakfast was already on the table, but the shattered pieces of glass on the floor were not cleared yet.

Camryn called the housekeepers over to clean up the kitchen before going upstairs.

Luckily, the door to the room was closed but not locked. She could still enter the room.
