After the kiss, Camryn rested her head against his chest.

She caressed his face and said, “I’ll never let Carrie touch you again.

“No woman is allowed to touch my man.”

“You must keep your promise, honey.”

Callum’s anger dissipated.

Carrie hugged him from behind and touched his chest. When he realized she was not Camryn, he immediately pushed her away.

“Never let that woman appear before me again. I’ll kick her every time I see her. I never attack women, but I’ll make an exception for someone who molested me and teach her a lesson.”

Camryn guaranteed it. “I’ll never let her come near you again. If she dares to, I’ll beat her up. It seems like she has only learned shameless things all this while.”

She touched Callum’s handsome face again and said, “You’re too good-looking and talented. You’re like a magnet that attracts everyone around you wherever you go. That’s why many people are targeting you.

“Many people think I’m not good enough for you. They say I’m blind and not loved by my family. Even if I had taken over Newman Enterprise, they think it’s all because of you and Dal’s help.”

When Camryn had made up her mind to date Callum, she knew there would be gossip.

Her surroundings had been terrible growing up. However, she did not care how others criticized her as long as Callum did not mind.

“I’ll slice the tongues of anyone who dares to badmouth you,” said Callum viciously.

However, Trenton could not find any words when they finally came down. He looked toward them guiltily.

Finally, he mustered his courage and apologized to Callum. “I’m sorry, Callum. I shouldn’t have lied and made you let your guard down. I didn’t know Carrie would… I’m sorry.”

After staring at him for a moment, Callum said, “Let’s have breakfast.”

Then he walked past Trenton with Camryn.

Camryn tugged at Trenton lightly as they walked past. Trenton turned and watched as they walked away, eventually following them to the dining hall.

During breakfast, Trenton did not have much of an appetite. He had something to say but felt he could not join Camryn and Callum’s conversation.
