Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2828

Once the lofty young lady of the Fisher family, Celine had now become a dog of a mourning family, driven away and insulted wherever she went.

“Where is she?” Emma asked coldly.

“In the backyard, on the swing frame. I don’t know what she’s thinking, but she’s been sitting there for a long time.”

After the maid finished speaking, the three missuses of the Fisher family walked angrily toward the backyard.

The housekeeper needed to decide whether to inform Adrian or not. After thinking for a moment, she hurried into the house to tell her husband. After considering, the couple decided to call Adrian and inform him, “Mr. Clark, Emma has come with the other two missuses. They came asking about Ms. Celine.

“Now they have gone to the backyard to find her. We don’t know if they will cause trouble. Mr. Clark, please come back quickly.”

Hearing this, Adrian frowned. “How did she find out? I’ll come back immediately.”

Emma despised Celine intensely, and their bonds from the past had long disappeared. If he did not return, Celine might be beaten to death by his wife.

Not only did he rush back himself, but he also brought his brothers along, as their wives were present as well.

After the housekeeper called Adrian, she heard Celine’s wailing and curses from outside, mixed with the voices of the three ladies.

The couple exchanged a glance and hurried out to see.

Perhaps the commotion caused by the four women was quite loud, as neighbors on both sides heard cries and insults. They peeked out of their homes but could not see anything, so they walked outside, even reaching Adrian’s doorsteps, driven by their gossipy curiosity.

Celine, however arrogant, was no match for her three sisters-in-law, who held deep grievances against her. She was dragged all the way from the backyard to the front yard. Emma even dragged her by the hair.
