Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2836

“We’ll have to count on the young ones to revitalize the Fisher family. All capable youngsters should be put to use. Don’t you think so, Judy and Cindy?”

Sebastian and Stan were old. Even if they were ambitious enough, they no longer had the energy to do so. They simply wanted their grandchildren to have a better future.

Since Liberty said so, she had given them a promise.

If the position of matriarch returned to Liberty, she would take in every capable youth of the Fisher family and let them shine.

It also meant that she was a benevolent leader.

Judy and Cindy exchanged glances. Cindy said, “Ms. Hunt is right. As expected from the previous matriarch’s descendants. Tiara had the same thought as well. When she was still in charge, we were a family that no one in Jensburg dared to underestimate.”

However, they had become a family that was looked down upon.

When Tiara was the matriarch, Judy and Cindy had not married into the family yet. They were six and twelve years old respectively, and knew nothing about the inner workings of wealthy families.

However, their husbands still had some memories of their schooling days. No one had dared to bully them upon the mention of the Fisher family’s name.

They also often heard stories about Tiara from the senior members of the Fisher family. Unfortunately, Tiara got married and gave birth at a later age. Her health deteriorated afterward, and she frequently fell sick, which provided Belinda the opportunity to take over.

“You don’t have to worry about your safety. So long as you keep a low profile and refrain from causing any trouble, I can guarantee your safety in Jensburg.”

Liberty wanted them to know their places and do everything discreetly. As long as they were not arrogant, no misfortune would befall them.

If they were troublemakers, Liberty dared not keep them safe, let alone hire them.

“We’ve always kept a low profile. Our families will never suck up to anybody. We’re humble people.”
