Julian chuckled. “You always look okay. Don’t worry, there’s no need to be nervous. My parents are very easygoing.”
“I’m not nervous! I just think that I should look presentable for our first meeting even if I don’t dress up. I’ll get the door.”
As Quinn said so, she rushed out and made her way through the yard to open the gate before Julian could.
A black van was parked at the gate.
When they saw her open the gate, someone in the van wound the window down and soon, someone got out of the car.
It was a beautiful middle-aged woman who looked somewhat similar to Julian. She could tell without asking that this was Julian’s mother.
Quinn internally gasped about how Stacy had taken such good care of herself that she looked like she was Julin’s elder sister. When the two stood next to each other, they did not look like they were mother and son at all.
Stacy walked over with a small smile. “You must be Quinn. I’ve seen a photo of you before. Hello, I’m Julian’s mother.”
“Hi, Mrs. Bucham,” Quinn hurriedly greeted.
Julian was right behind Quinn and he greeted his mother.
Stacy nodded with a smile and her gaze turned to Quinn. She appraised Quinn from head to toe.
She thought to herself that Quinn looked even more beautiful in person than in photos.
Quinn was a perfect match for her son.
Stacy liked Quinn from the first glance.
This was the only girl who could save her son. She had a good impression of Quinn from the moment she first saw her photos and treasured the girl.
Walter also got out of the car.
“Julian has talked about you and you saved our Julian. We’ve been wanting to personally make a visit to thank you, but didn’t have the time and could only allow Julian to thank you guys first. Now that we had the time, we hurried over to make a visit.”
“We’re really grateful to you for that night, Ms. Crawford. If it weren’t for you, who knows what shape our Julian would be in right now.”
The Bucham couple still did not know that their son had already confessed everything to Quinn.
They even helped him keep up the lie.
Quinn laughed. “Mr. Bucham, Julian’s self-defense skills are amazing. Even if I hadn’t helped him that night, he would have come out unharmed.”
Besides, Julian was the one behind those people appearing.
She just happened to get caught up in it. If she had not, Julian’s men would not have been able to keep up the act.
Quinn did not expose Julian, thinking that he had even kept all that he did from his parents.
