Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2876

Julian felt like he was probably just a tool for his parents to get grandchildren.

“So many of them? Then we can roast the sweet potatoes ourselves to eat. The ones they sell outside are too expensive.”

As expected, Quinn really liked this gift.

The van door was still open and Quinn walked over to take a look inside. She exclaimed, “Are these all sweet potatoes?”

She picked up a sack, not knowing if they were sweet potatoes or yams, and carried it in.

Soon, Mark came out to help as well.

The three young adults had to go back and forth several times before they finally managed to finish moving all the local produce from the van to the Crawfords’ hall.

The expensive wines and cheeses had been stuffed into one of the sacks.

Julian thought his parents had only brought some local produce over, but then again with these gifts, Zoey would not feel burdened, especially since the Buchams were giving them under the guise of thanking them.

Since the Bucham couple was visiting, Quinn and Mark did not return to the gym for the time being and stayed at home to entertain the guests.

After learning that Stacy and Walter had not eaten breakfast, Zoey hurried to the kitchen with Quinn to prepare some food.

This was also when Quinn finally had time to ask her mother, “Mom, Dad and Will left for the gym so early today. I tried calling both of them but neither of them picked up.”

Zoey glanced outside before answering in a low voice, “Your dad and Will booked a flight to Wiltspoon today to help you find out more about the Buchams’ character. Who knew Julian’s parents would come here?”

Quinn was a bit exasperated. “I haven’t even made my decision and they’ve already gone to Wiltspoon.”
