Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 2935

Hayden was silent for a moment before she said, “They grew up together and shared a kinship. It’s impossible for them to cut their ties in one go.”

“I know.”

In the eyes of the three Fisher brothers, their biological sister Caroline was the interloper who had ruined the relationship between the siblings.

Her appearance had caused Celine’s status to fall greatly.

At first, it was still alright. Belinda was biased toward Celine.

Everyone thought that it was unlikely that Caroline would be able to manage all of the family businesses and was all kinds of disdainful toward Caroline.

However, two years later, when the Fishers ran into trouble, the one who stepped up to take charge and clean up the company’s messes was the real Fisher daughter, Caroline.

Meanwhile, Celine, the fake daughter who had been spoiled by the Fishers all this while had her reputation ruined, was kicked out of the Fisher family, and became penniless.

Just like Carrie, Celine was too used to a comfortable life and was not willing to rely on herself. When she ran out of money, she would ask her brothers for it. She would not get much, but she would still get around three to five thousand dollars from each brother. With that, she could tide herself over for some time.

Carrie had never worked a day before and had no working experience, so it would not be easy for her to get a job even if she tried.

Celine, however, had once been the second-in-command of Fisher Enterprise. Although she could not be considered a particularly outstanding one, she did have some ability and would not have a problem getting a job to support herself.

She was just used to an indulgent life and could not accept the difference when she went from riches to rags.

Plus, she was determined to meet her adoptive mother Belinda to explain things in the hope of seeking Belinda’s forgiveness.

As long as Belinda forgave her, she could at least regain the properties and shop lots given by Belinda in the past even if she could not go back to Fisher Manor. That way, she would have a roof over her head and some income to live off.

Although her commercial properties were not doing well because many still had not been rented out after having their leases broken, as long as she owned them, she could still sell them and earn a huge sum of money.

After selling the properties, cars, and shop lots, she would have a considerable sum of money. Then, she could return to the town her biological parents lived in. Her life would definitely be comfortable.

Any random property or shop lot in central Jensburg was worth over a million. She had quite a few that were located in particularly good locations and each of them could sell for around two million.
