Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 3038

Carrie smiled gently. “No, I have something I need to do at home. I’ll invite you out when I’m free, Ms. House. If it’s alright with you, could I get your contact number?”

Tasha did not refuse and they exchanged numbers.

Carrie led her two bodyguards into the parlor to say goodbye to Mrs. House and Mrs. House arranged for the butler to escort her out as usual.

Once she got into the car and the car started, the gentle expression on Carrie’s face immediately vanished, replaced by anger.

She cursed Camryn ceaselessly.

The two bodyguards ignored her, allowing her to curse.

“I’m so mad! Just you wait, you blind bitch! One day, I’ll make you kneel and beg at my feet.

“I’ll make you wish you were dead!”

Carrie repeated the same slurs whenever she was cursing someone.

“You nearly slipped up earlier,” one of the bodyguards could not stop himself from saying.

Carrie said furiously, “You guys don’t know how unpleasant it is to hear that blind bitch talk! She’s always shitting on me!

“I helped her but she still badmouthed me! She said I’m the same sort of person as Ms. Abrams—an arrogant, condescending troublemaker. How am I an arrogant, condescending troublemaker?

“If I’m arrogant, then what is she?” Carrie said indignantly.

“If I hadn’t remembered what Mr. Longbottom said, I really wanted to help Ms. Abrams out and teach that blind bitch a real lesson.”

The bodyguard said coldly, “It’s good that you remembered what the boss said. If you ruin his plans… Just remember that you’re not a cat and you don’t have nine lives.”

Carrie was silent at this.

Luckily, she managed to reel in her anger and did not slip up.

Neither did she ruin Mr. Longbottom’s plans.

Otherwise, she would be dead before she realized it.
