Carrie claimed that all the Newman assets were her parents’ but she was in fact aware that some of it belonged to Camryn, bequeathed by Uncle Abel.

Before her parents went to jail, she heard Paige say that they had around a billion dollars total in assets.

Camryn had taken everything Abel had left for her, while some assets had been frozen. Her parents had been fined too, so Carrie estimated her parents now had around three hundred million dollars in assets at most.

Setting aside the company shares, properties, shop lots, and whatever assets that were not liquidated, Trenton probably did not have much cash on hand.

“I’ve only scolded you a little and you’re already ignoring me. You said that you care about me, but they’re all lies! Luckily, I only have a minor health problem. If it was a major one and I had to rely on you to pay for a life-saving operation, you probably wouldn’t even pay up!
