Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 3281

Seeing Isabella’s smile, Tati knew her cousin misunderstood her again.

She could not be bothered to explain.

Her feelings for Austin were pure admiration. His cooking and desserts were truly to her liking.

She was not the only one who enjoyed them, and that included Isabella.

Isabella had not criticized Austin’s cooking since he started working two days ago.

“Austin’s cooking style never changes, but the taste of his food is flawless. He’s my age, yet he has such mastery in cooking. I have to admit that he’s talented. Not only that, he’s still refining his recipes.”

That was a rare compliment from Isabella, which was a sign of recognition for his cooking skills.

“Dominic said that Austin’s luggage only had a few sets of clothes. The rest were cookbooks of various cuisines.”

The flavors created by different cooks would vary even if the recipes were the same.

Some dishes had great visuals and taste while some only looked great with flavors lacking.

“Austin said he loved cooking ever since he was young. Making his hobby his job and further refining it is a great achievement.”

Tati had a good impression of Austin.

“Louis usually refuses to wake up, but he has been waking up on his own for the past two days. He said he wanted to eat the breakfast Austin made before going to school.”

Isabella was relieved.

After decades, her father and uncles only managed to have two sons.

Her biological brother, Louis, was the first son of their generation. He was genuinely showered with love.

Be it their parents or aunts and uncles, they all adored Louis.

However, a spoiled child would get reckless and become difficult to teach. Therefore, Isabella was especially strict toward Louis to prevent him from becoming a spoiled brat. Louis was afraid of his sister.

With Isabella’s intervention, he was willful sometimes but remained reasonable.

Actually, Isabella could have gone to the cafeteria to eat. Austin had borrowed the company’s kitchen to cook with the ingredients he brought from the manor.

However, he insisted on delivering the food to her office. That way, she could rest in the office after eating and save time.

Austin said he was familiar with the pressure that came with being the boss of a huge company as he was also one. Time was so scarce that one had to squeeze time out to go to the bathroom.

The only time they could rest briefly was during mealtimes.

Even then, business meetings with clients were not uncommon.

Isabella’s lunch break was only but a brief half hour.

She would have more time to rest if the time taken to eat was shortened.

Although Isabella was not Austin’s wife yet, he was determined to care for her.

He was already a doting husband like all the other York men even before liking or pursuing Isabella.
