Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 3289

“Hasn’t Austin been doing well? Isa didn’t comment on his food even once,” Delphine asked curiously.

Before Dominic could reply, she added, “The dishes he made were truly delicious. However, he’s a boss himself after all. He might not have been able to adapt to this shift in identity.”

Being a private chef in the O’Connor family was equivalent to being a servant.

Austin was capable. He was his own boss and had money. He only became a private chef because he found it challenging.

It was natural that he could not take it anymore.

‘Ah, we only enjoyed his food for two days. We have to look for a new chef again.’

Delphine was used to her family chef changing regularly.

“Louis loved the breakfast Austin made. He could make a huge variety of food and even shape them into animals. Louis and Philip liked it a lot.”

After she spoke, Dominic explained, “Austin didn’t quit, Mrs. O’Connor. Ms. Isabella had told him to go along with her on a business trip and asked me to find a stand-in.”

“Is Isa going on a business trip? How long will she be away for?”

Seeing that Isabella had to bring Austin along, it would be pretty long.

Delphine asked again, “Is there a major issue with one of the branch companies?”

“I’m not too sure, Mrs. O’Connor. This is what Ms. Isabella said when I delivered food to her. Don’t be too worried. No matter what the problem is, she’ll definitely handle it well.”

Dominic had a lot of confidence in Isabella, thinking there was nothing she could not do.

Although Delphine retired long ago, she also believed Isabella could solve any urgent issues.

Isabella had changed from when she had just stepped up as the CEO.

“Tell Austin to just be in charge of Isa’s meals. He doesn’t have to do anything else.”
