Serenity and Zachary York novel Chapter 3290

Callum wanted to pick Camryn up from the airport, but she did not let him and rode in a car with her bodyguards instead.

She told him not to worry about her and let her be independent as she had already regained her sight.

Callum listened to his wife.

In fact, he was also busy at that time. Since Camryn did not need him to pick her up, he went home and waited for her after work.

The dining table was filled with her favorite dishes he had prepared.

Although Camryn had eaten on the airplane, she was hungry again when she arrived home.

Her house was far from the airport.

The rain had stopped, but the ground was wet, and the sky remained gloomy. The temperature now was lower than this morning.

Callum exited the house when he heard the sound of a car.

When he saw Camryn getting out of the car, he walked down the stairs with a smile. “You’re back, honey. Must’ve been a long trip.”

Camryn had lived where her company was for several days. She was indeed exhausted. Since Dalton had to accompany his pregnant wife, Camryn took over much of his work. After all, Newman Corporation was her responsibility.

Dalton had contributed a lot to the company. It was time to let him rest and spend time with Melissa.

“It wasn’t too bad. Dal arranged everything for me. I just had to follow what had been done previously.”

Callum lifted Camryn’s luggage and walked toward the house with her. As they walked, he asked, “Is Melissa doing well?”

“She’s fine, but her morning sickness is pretty bad. Dal is very worried.”

“It can’t be helped. Alice also had severe morning sickness during her pregnancy. Clive almost wanted her to abort the baby. I guess Serenity and Jasmine are the luckier ones.”

Serenity and Jasmine only experienced mild nausea with only vomiting once or twice.

Camryn supposed that her mother would not regret a thing even if she died.

Paige would only regret not killing Camryn when Abel had just passed away. Camryn had only been two years old at that time and killing her would have been easy.

Camryn had visited Paige at the prison.

Although they met, Paige kept humiliating and cursing her, expressing regrets about not killing her back then.

There was no hint of remorse in Paige’s eyes.

Paige even warned her that she would haunt Camryn in the afterlife if she dared bully her siblings.

That was the kind of mother Camryn had.

“You have me and my parents from now on. My parents love you more than they love me. They always revolve around you whenever we return to the manor as if I’m adopted from the streets.”
