Trenton felt terrible for Carrie.

However, he could not give her too much money.

“Since you’re in-laws with the Yorks, why don’t you take me to Wiltspoon Hotel? Will it be on the house?”

Trenton said, “It’ll probably be on the house if I tell Callum, but I don’t want to do that. I can treat you to a meal without taking advantage of Callum.

“I’m not sure if there are seats if we head to Wiltspoon Hotel now. I guess it’s better to find a nearby restaurant.”

Trenton feared Carrie would make a scene at the York family’s territory.

He knew she despised Camryn and Serenity.

Hence, he wanted to avoid taking her to Wiltspoon Hotel.

Carrie pouted and said, “Fine. By the way, why hasn’t that blind girl gotten pregnant? Is she infertile?”

Trenton’s expression darkened. “Camryn is no longer blind. Don’t keep calling her that. She’s perfectly healthy and just wants to spend more time with Callum. They aren’t in a rush to have children.”
