“Mr. York, if it’s not about money, then is it about love? You seem to treat her really well. She kicked you, but you didn’t even get angry.”

Dylan did not hide his love for Fox. “You guessed it. I want to make her mine, but it’s not been going well. It’s been three or four months and I haven’t even gotten her name or number.”

Theo was silent for a moment before he replied, “That’s weird, Mr. York. You’re not just our boss, you’re also a York. Lots of girls would kill to marry into your family. How could she possibly not like you? You’ve known her for such a long time but she still hasn’t even told you her name. Unless… she’s not straight, or she’s married. Or do you think she might be a lesbian?”

Dylan glared at Theo and retorted, “You’re the lesbian! She isn’t one. She doesn’t swing that way.”

Fox did not seem like she was married either, though he did not know if she had a boyfriend. Did she have someone she liked? Was that why she remained indifferent to him? Imogen was such a proud woman and even she fell for him after he pursued her for some time.

“I don’t know if she has someone she likes, but she doesn’t seem married.”

“Does she know your true identity?”

Dylan replied, “She does. She’s really impressive. I think she’s on about the same level as Julian Bucham, though I wonder where she gets her information. You’ve been working with me since I started in the working world and after so many years, I hope you know I’m only telling you all of this because I think of you as a trustworthy friend.”

Theo immediately looked grateful. “Thank you for trusting me.”
