"I'm good." She replied and both me and Jonah's jaws dropped.
"W-what?" He stuttered, not used to getting shot down.
"No offense or anything, but I'm just not really a Ferrari kind of girl." She sweetly said.
"I can, um get a different car?" He was confused, I stepped back a little and let Devina handle this.
"Nah that's okay, I want to ride with Zane." Jonah snapped his eyes towards me and sent me a questioning look. "I'm his mate." She added and I almost fell to my knees. If Jonah, didn't know about werewolves, this would be pretty funny. I couldn't take my eyes off of her, especially when she just accepted me as her mate.
"Man- I didn't know I swear!" I laughed and pulled Devina into my side again. I wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her forehead.
"I know. It's okay." He was probably still confused as we walked away from him.
"You're in buddy!" Levi patted my back as soon as we reached him.
"Thanks, man." I smiled and walked back to my Bugatti. "Ready Sunshine?" I asked and she furrowed her eyebrows.
"Why do you call me that?" I chuckled and opened the door for her then got into the driver side of the car.
"Because that's what you are. You're my sunshine. You light up my life, you make everything better." Her jaw dropped then she smiled. "I-" I was cut off by someone knocking on my window. "No," I growled out as soon as I saw who was the culprit. "What do you want?" I huffed out then rolled the window down.
"We're racing!" Everett laughed and patted my back. "Who's the girl?" He licked his lips and smirked at Devina.
"How many people are going to check her out today!?" I growled and Everett dryly laughed again.
"It's not our fault you brought a girl here." Devina looked down at her hands and I glanced back at Everett. "Well, this just makes things more interesting."
"What?" Devina finally asked and Everett smiled.
"If I win. You have to go out on a date with me." Everett explained and I clenched my fists.
"No way." I protested but Everett wasn't going to give up this easily.
"And if you win, you get her all to yourself." I violently shook my head. "What's the problem? Afraid you'll loose?" He taunted and I chuckled.
"You know what? Fine. Deal." And we shook hands.
