She’s Married, Sir (Scarlett and Sebastian) novel Chapter 111

Chapter 111

Scarlett’s ears were completely red, and she said, embarrassedly, “Susan, 1… he actually…”

If Susan were aware that she had been bullied by Mr. Yea, her explosive temper would likely lead her to confront him and settle the score.

Just like when she found out that Liam had kicked her twice, she rolled up her sleeves and made plans to rush to the capital overnight to take revenge on him.

At that time, she was too afraid to tell Susan that she had suffered a heart failure after being kicked, so she had kept it a secret until now.

Seeing Scarlett hesitate, Susan couldn’t help but show a concerned look. ‘Could it be that he’s like Sebastian and doesn’t want to wed you, but just wants to support you?”

Scarlett quickly shook her head. “No.”

Susan frowned and asked, “What’s happening here?”

Scarlett sighed. She could no longer hide it and could only tell Susan honestly.

Hearing this, Susan abruptly braked and parked the car at the roadside.

“What did you say?”

“Are you moved by a stranger?”

She suspected she had misheard and repeated it back.

Scarlett’s face flushed red, yet she had to nod in agreement.

“Let’s go, summon the police!”

Susan, in anger, rolled up her sleeves and was about to drive to the police station when Scarlett hastily intervened, preventing her from doing so.

“I have reported it, and it is hard to locate him. Furthermore, I have a bone to pick with him, so I’m not willing to provoke

him…”

“What bone?”

Scarlett bit by bit told Susan about how James had threatened her

“It’s no surprise that James had so many people at the wedding. He was using me to intimidate you.”

Upon learning the truth. Susan was filled with self-recrimination.

“Scarlett, you were foolish. You put your life in danger just for me?”

Raising her hand, she lightly touched Scarlett’s face, so thin that its eye sockets were sunken.

Scarlett was good-looking, and she was always a target for this kind of backstage attention.

Whenever anyone bullied or followed her while she was studying in the past, they would tell both her and Liam.

Having encountered such a dangerous situation, she chose to face it alone.

Scarlett likely did this to avoid implicating herself.

Susan’s eyes were filled with heartache. “Scarlett,” she said, “if you ever find yourself in a similar situation again, let me know.”

She could not prevail over the wealthy young masters, yet she could employ her life to safeguard Scarlett. Should those shameless, stinky men dare to touch Scarlett again, she would surely kill them!
