She’s Married, Sir (Scarlett and Sebastian) novel Chapter 140

Chapter 140

“You…

When Scarlett saw Dey like this, she suddenly did not know what to say.

She was wearing Sebastian’s clothes, covering her body very tightly.

But her red and swollen lips and the kiss marks on her neck deeply hurt Dev

His eyes were red and his hands were trembling. He wanted to touch the marks on her body, but Scarlett avoided him.

The hurtfulness of her subconscious movements was even greater than the sound of sex he had heard outside the door.

Stepping back in disbelief, he stared at the woman standing motionless at the door.

It was only at this moment that Dey realized that five years had not meant armnesia, but loss.

After his big brother pretended to be him and kicked her two times, he had already completely lost her…

His bright red eyes were covered with tears, making it impossible for him to see Scarlett’s appearance clearly.

Staggering, he took slow, laborious steps towards her and, with great effort, reached out his arm to draw her into an

embrace.

He hugged her and used all his strength as if he wanted to never let go.

But even if he hugged her like this, he could not feel any response from her.

In the past, as long as he gave her a hug, she would smile and wrap her arms around his waist.

Then, she would nestle in his arms and say, “Liam, stop working so much and spend more time with me!”

She asked him to accompany her more, but in order to give her a better future and a better life, he always had no time to be

with her.

When he had time, she and he got separated because of a car accident….

The regret that had taken hold of his heart made it difficult for him to breathe, no matter how heavily he inhaled, it did nothing to alleviate the pain.

Scarlett was shocked when cold tears dropped onto her collarbone, and before she could look up, she felt a large palm grab

her head.

“Scarlett, don’t look at me…

His last trace of pride did not allow her to see his sorry state.

Scarlett ceased her motion, allowing him to embrace her, yet her thoughts were empty.

Today, Dey was really too abnormal, as if he had become a different person.

“I’m sorry.”

He buried his head into her neck, murmuring sorry.

“It’s my fault. I was useless. That’s why you sold yourself to save me…”

“I couldn’t accept you selling your body. I had a mental breakdown and hurt you…”

“I had no desire to return to the Gatsby clan. I jumped out of the car on the highway and bumped my head. I had forgotten all about you..”

“Im sorry, Scarlett. I just remembered now. I’m really sorry…

Scarlett could not help but choose to believe Dev’s sincere words.
