She’s Married, Sir (Scarlett and Sebastian) novel Chapter 141

Chapter 141

Dey’s eyes were red as he smiled bitterly at Scarlett.

“My big brother didn’t want you to bother me so he purposely pretended to be me and did things to you…”

“I only discovered what he did to you live years ago.”

“Im sorry. Scarlett. I couldn’t protect you properly….”

Dev stopped his speech abruptly, his guilt-ridden eyes were glistening red.

Scarlett’s heart ceased to beat and her little face gradually paled.

In other words, Liam had never considered abandoning nor killing her.

Back then, his big brother was the one who ruthlessly attacked her and said harsh words to her.

Liam has never changed and she has never been in love with the wrong man….

The resentment that had been lingering in her heart for many years was completely laid to rest when she found out the

truth.

She was no longer engulfed in sadness and resentment; instead, she felt a sense of relief about everything that has happened.

She sighed in relief and when she looked up at him again, her eyes were more relaxed than ever before.

Im not blaming you. It was because I’m not fated with you that caused this misunderstanding”

“It’s all in the past. You don’t have to apologize anymore….

Dev’s heartache was intensified by her relieved tone and he felt a deep pain in his heart.

Did she mean that she had moved on from their past and from him by saying it was in the past?

“Don’t you want me anymore?”

He asked with a trembling voice.

Scarlett raised her hand and ran her fingers over her neck, feeling the kiss marks left by Sebastian. How could she possibly deserve Liam?

She concealed her feelings in her eyes and gazed at Dey with a grin. “You saw it too. I’m not innocent…”

Dey stared at her for a long time, he mustered up the courage to raised his hand and wiped the hickey on her neck.

“Just give it a good wipe. It doesn’t make a difference…”

His fingers trembled as he wiped her neck.

Scarlett’s eyes were brimming with tears upon seeing him like this.

How possessive was Liam back then?

He would be enraged if she spoke to other guys.

He was very protective of her and would not permit anyone to lay a hand on her.

Thus, he collapsed when he heard that she sold herself.

A man like that still said it was alright after he saw her sleeping with another man.

He must be afraid that she no longer wanted him, but she really didn’t deserve him; they have already gone astray.

Scarlett raised her hand to stop him, “Liam, I’m sorry. Over the past five years, I have been intimate with him on multiple

occasions.”

Driven by anger, she signed the agreement and yielded to Sebastian.

Even though they may have cleared up the misunderstanding now, the fact remained that she had betrayed him.
