Chapter 46
Having sent this message, the man did not respond any further.
He seemed intent on letting Scarlett decide.
Holding the phone, her body trembled.
In her message to the police, she mentioned James and mentioned that there were surveillance cameras in the hotel room.
The police would definitely investigate and collect evidence based on this evidence, looking for James.
If Mr. Yea were to reveal to the police at this time that she wanted to kill James, she would undoubtedly be convicted of attempted murder.
James would be certain that her aim was not to award him the contract, but to take his life.
If James had known that she intended to kill him, he would have made her pay for all the pain he had endured!
Despite all their efforts, Forrest Group was unable to locate the perpetrator who had caused them harm, and coincidentally, she had a desire to kill him. It was difficult to not suspect that she was the one responsible.
James had only just become aware of the scandal. Unlike Director Forrest, he had not been involved from the outset. Had he been conscious and aware of the truth, he would certainly not have allowed her to escape.
She was still very afraid of James, even though he was down and out. A thin camel was bigger than a horse, making it easy for him to pinch her and Susan to death.
Susan was her only weakness, and yet she was not afraid of death.
After pondering for a moment, she obediently headed to the presidential suite of the Night Club.
James getting on was better than getting revenge..
Just before departing, she touched an electric baton.
No matter what, she knew she had to keep struggling.
Scarlett mustered her courage and rapped on the door of the presidential suite.
The door was soon knocked open from within.
This was an automatic door that could be operated remotely,
The person who had opened the door was standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling window,
He was still in the same outfit, his face completely concealed by the golden-bronze mask, his hair disheveled, and his clothing loose and casual.
Standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, the man had one hand in his pocket and the other holding a glass of red
wine.
Seeing that she was standing still at the door, he lifted his hand and waved at her. “Come over here.”
Sebastian’s cold tone was typical of him, yet the tattoo on his neck made her doubts dissipate.
As soon as her feet touched the soft carpet, the door behind her slammed shut.
Upon hearing the door shut, she realized that she was now trapped in the devil’s clutches, with no hope of escape.
The man, gripping the remote control, shut off both the floor-to-ceiling windows and the lights in the room.
The darkness descended instantly upon the presidential suite, not allowing even a single ray of light to penetrate.
The room was even more tightly sealed than when Royal Hotel had been there last.
Once the lights were switched off and the curtains were drawn, the darkness was so complete that no one could tell where the other person was
Scarlett, somewhat disoriented by the darkness, raised her hand and tentatively touched it.
However, she accidentally touched hot abdominal muscles.
Her strong and sturdy physique caused her to swiftly retract her hand.
Startled, she hadn’t anticipated the man already being in front of her, and even more so, having taken off his clothes. Taking
a step back in haste, she was taken aback.
He reached out and, without hesitation, pulled her into his arms, his hands firmly grasping her waist.
Scarlett leaned against his bare, hot body, her face slightly flushed.
The man held her chin and gently raised her head, so she could look at him without feeling embarrassed.
Well, she couldn’t see anything clearly. She couldn’t even see the facial features clearly. She didn’t know what they were looking at.
The man, highly skilled, deftly undid Scarlett’s clothes.
