She’s Married, Sir (Scarlett and Sebastian) novel Chapter 45

Chapter 45

Scarlett was too exhausted to ponder much. After her bath, she returned to her room and drifted off to sleep.

She slept soundly until the afternoon of the next day, nearly three o’clock, as if her narcolepsy was worsening.

She was aware that the patient in the advanced stage of the illness would be in a critical state, so she didn’t let it affect her emotionally.

She could hold on for as long as possible.

In the end, everyone will die, but it’s only a matter of time; there’s no need to be sad.

She went to the kitchen to whip up a simple dinner of rice porridge and vegetables, enough for her to enjoy.

As she drank the porridge, she answered the video call from Susan.

Having already arrived in Malaysia, the two were playing by the sea.

The sky over there was a much deeper blue than A Town’s, and the sea water was so clear that you could see all the way to

the bottom.

Susan was wearing Bohemia’s long skirt. She stepped on the beach and smiled.

Scarlett, upon seeing Susan’s glowing face, knew that she was doing well, and couldn’t help but feel joy.

“Scarlett, the view here is stunning. I’ll definitely bring you here to see it next time!”

“Okay.”

Scarlett sweetly replied, then chatted for a while about Malaysia’s delicious food, before Susan was summoned by Cosmo to take the boat.

After Scarlett reminded them to be cautious, she ended the video call.

She wanted to put the phone down and focus on eating her porridge, but then Mr. Yea sent her a WhatsApp message. “Come to the Night Club’s Presidential Suite and see me.”

It was clear what the message was: that scoundrel wanted to sleep with her again!

Scarlett clenched her phone tightly and ground her teeth as she typed, “You actually have the audacity to ask me to meet you?”

Mr. Yea nonchalantly responded with five words, “I want to fuck you.”

Scarlett’s face flushed red as she stared at the five words.

“You already committed a crime yesterday, yet you still have the audacity to send this kind of message!”

With trembling hands, she sent it and then quickly took a screenshot of her message.

Although she didn’t get the surveillance camera, this kind of verbal harassment text could still be used as evidence to sue

him.

She had already called the police to file a case, and if she took a screenshot of this text, it would serve as further evidence. The other party disregarded her feelings and sent a picture without a second thought.

Scarlett was incensed when she saw the picture.

He actually took a photo of her in the nude!

Furthermore, the approach he adopted was highly peculiar, as if it was she who had instigated it!

Just as Scarlett was on the brink of succumbing to her rage, the man sent another message.

“Come over here. Otherwise, I can’t promise where this photo will end up.”

Why was this man even more hateful than James, using her photo as a threat?

Scarlett clenched her teeth and captured screenshots of the message he had sent, intending to present them to the police the following day.

The man, as if he knew what she was thinking, sent her a text.

“It doesn’t matter if you call the police, but don’t forget, it was you who initiated the request for us to go to the hotel.

“I asked James, not you. It was you who pretended to be him to commit a crime!”

Scarlett, her face flushed with anger, hurriedly returned.

When she saw the following message, she was even more enraged.

“Who knows if I am James?”

He meant that he had left no evidence showing that he had impersonated James,
