Chapter 58
Gatsby Group had always been professional. Dey didn’t have to worry about the issue of strength, so he nodded “Of course, it all comes down to strength.”
Upon seeing his CEO relieved, Mr. Baber also remarked, “Miss Napier, the Gatsby Group put an end to the Napier Group’s project. It was done in secret by my subordinates. Please don’t take it to heart, Miss Napier. I have already reprimanded
them’
Scarlee naturally did not believe the words in the business battle, but she did not lose her composure. Instead, she followed Mr. Baber’s words and said, “Let’s turn this conflict into an alliance. We can work together and help each other succeed.” He raised his glass and toasted Dev and Mr. Baber. After taking a sip, he smiled and said, “Let’s head back today. See you at the bidding meeting”
Scarlee boldly brought the dinner to an end.
In the Asian market, Jackman Group was the leading enterprise, even though Gatsby Group and Jackman Group were both equally powerful in the country.
Gatsby Group’s people had no objections to Scarlee’s order to leave; instead, they all gazed at Sebastian.
If this man, who was as cold as ice. stayed, they wouldn’t dare to be the first to stand up.
Sebastian said cheerfully, “Let’s split up. Then he immediately grasped Scarlee’s hand and strolled out.
Upon seeing the man, who was rumored to not be close to women, take the initiative to hold Searlee’s hand, everyone was stunned.
It was evident that the bond between the two of them was more intimate than they had thought.
It was uncertain whether the western section would be acquired by Napier Group due to this connection Gatsby Group was so worried about this that they resorted to extreme measures to deal with Napier Group. At the sound of the door opening, Scarlett sprang to her feet.
Sebastian and Scarlee hand in hand walked out.
Upon seeing their intertwined fingers, her eyelashes quivered slightly.
She wanted to act as if nothing had occurred and avert her
gaze.
Her lowered eyes were still uncontrollable as she gazed at Sebastian’s hand, which was wrapped around Scarlee.
His grip was so tight that the veins in his arms bulged, indicating how important the person under his grip was to him.
Recalling how she had inadvertently collided with his arms, she felt a wave of revulsion for him.
Vines seemed to be wrapping her heart, tightening gradually, making it hard for her to breathe.
She had often imagined that Sebastian would hold her hand like this, yet it had remained only a dream.
Sebastian would never publicly hold her hand, unlike Scarlee.
As Scarlee and the two passed by, she abruptly halted.
“Scarlett, don’t forget to take Mr. Gatsby back to the hotel,” she said, turning to face her.
“Right.” Scarlett snapped back to reality and nodded affirmatively.
Scarlee smiled and, still hugging Sebastian’s arm, walked towards the elevator.
Scarlett only dared to look up at their backs after they had turned away from her.
Sebastian and Scarlee were a perfect match.
As for her, she was just passing by, and then disappearing into nothingness.
Scarlett’s mouth curled up at the corners, and a relieved smile spread across her face. The pain was nothing.
