She’s Married, Sir (Scarlett and Sebastian) novel Chapter 85

Chapter 85

Lance looked at the cold and distant Sebastian through the rearview mirror.

After hesitating for a moment, he gathered his courage and asked. “Second brother, when are you going to marry Scarlee?”

He always felt that after his second brother and Scarlee got married, everything was settled and there was no need to worry about being afraid.

Sebastian seemed to smile, but his smile did not reach his eyes. “You also want me to marry her?”

Lance shook his head subconsciously. “I don’t want to, but…

But there was no way, right?

When Lance was thinking about what to say, Sebastian suddenly said lightly, “I will marry her.”

His voice was very light, as if there was no emotion in it. He was like a machine, cold to the point of unconsciousness. Lance sighed deeply in his heart. Second brother seemed to have never been happy….

Dev sent Scarlett home.

Before getting off the car. Dev handed her a soft cream.

Scarlett thanked him and declined. “I’ll go back and use ice”

After she had finished speaking, she immediately spun around and departed. Dev watched her petite figure, and his face was again filled with loneliness.

He could feel that Scarlett was full of wariness towards him, and there was even a trace of hostility. This made him very puzzled

When he was deep in thought, Phylo reminded him, “Mr. Gatsby, Miss Sales is just playing hard to get. Please don’t be fooled

Since Dey lost his memory, he had never been in a relationship. He didn’t know what it meant to play hard to get. When he heard Phylo say this, he subconsciously retorted, “She doesn’t like me. How can she play hard to get?”

But Phylo said. “She was playing hard to get to get your attention. When you were pining for her, she kept her distance. Once you were smitten, it would be easy to reel you in. Furthermore…”

He paused briefly and remarked, “Did you not observe that she just employed a clever ploy?”

“Miss Sales, being gentle and generous, would normally not have let you see that she had been beaten, however, she deliberately allowed you to witness it so that you could teach Miss Wen a lesson.”

“This can not only exact revenge on Miss Wen with your hands, but also leave a negative impression of her.”

“I guess she was aware that Young Master Wen intended to matchmake you and Miss Wen, so she employed some tactics to sabotage it.”

Normally. Dey would have believed Phylo’s words; however, now he felt that even if Scarlett had used some tricks to let him find out that she was beaten, it was only right for her to fight back. After all, she was not a Virgin Mary.

Furthermore, Scarlett had not intended for him to see the bruise; it was Iris who had struck her so hard as to leave a mark on her face.

Had he not known, he would not have been aware that she had been beaten up in the bathroom.

Phylo still wanted to say something, but Dev directly asked him to close his mouth. “Keep your eyes on the road. You only know how to chatter all day long

Phylo:…
