“Are you threatening me?” Joanna asked furiously.
“It’s great that you caught on,” Millie replied with a sweet smile. “I thought you were too much of a fool to realize that I was threatening you.”
Joanna’s face turned red with anger. “Millie Caldwell!”

Patrick couldn’t help but glance at Millie. Despite what everyone said about her being a waste, he couldn’t understand how she could be considered as such. Rumors were often false and unbelievable.
Millie frowned, her expression filled with concern. “You’re still weak, and your liver is a cause for concern. Mr. Harrison, you must remain calm at all times.”
Millie asked, “How about I get you some herbal medicine for your health?”
Patrick was surprised. “You can prescribe herbal medicine too?”
Millie nodded, replying gently, “I learned traditional medicine from my grandma when I was a child. I can help you with the treatment if you trust my medical skills.”
