Chapter 25
“Please, let me show my gratitude! Patrick insisted.
“Well… if we don’t have any other plans, how about going golfing?” Terrence suggested abruptly.
Patrick quickly nodded. “Sounds great! Mills, do you play golf?”
Millie shook her head. She was talented in many things but golf wasn’t one of them. Learning to play golf took patience, and she had none of that, except when she was trying to date Winston
Patrick was delighted to learn that Millie couldn’t play golf. Perfect! Simon’s a great golfer! You should let him teach you!”
With a nod to Millie, Simon responded, “If you’re up for it.”
Millie saw how happy Terrence was. She didn’t want to disappoint him, so she agreed.
The biggest golf course in Yerwick City was located on the outskirts of town. Simon drove them there.
During the journey, Terrence and Patrick talked fondly about old. times and had a nice conversation. Millie sat in the front seat, occasionally snacking and chatting with Simon.
There were numerous luxury cars parked outside the golf course. It was then that Millie realized it was the weekend. Wealthy people. often played golf in their spare time.
Terrence had already reserved the course. After Millie changed into her golfing attire, she noticed that Terrence and Patrick had already. begun their game.
The sun cast a warm glow over the lush green grass.
Millie had her hair tied back in a ponytail and was dressed in pale pink sportswear. Her light makeup complemented her outfit.
perfectly and made her look naturally beautiful
As she was about to head to the course, she suddenly heard someone behind her say, “Win…”
She tumed to look but no one was there. Thinking she must have misheard, she shrugged it off.
‘Mr. Simon!” Millie waved to Simon, who was waiting for her in the distance.
“Why not just call me Simon? ‘Mr. Simon‘ sounds too formal,” Simon suggested.
“Sure,” Millie agreed. From then on, Simon called her by her name,
too.
“Do you come here often?” Millie asked.
“Yeah, mainly to socialize,” Simon replied. “So, you can’t play at all?
Millie shook her head. Even though she excelled at activities like rock climbing, shooting, and skydiving, she could not play golf. “Well, it’s easier to teach someone new,” Simon quipped.
As they walked, Millie couldn’t help but ask, “You just came to say thanks this time, right? Nothing more?”
“Are you worried I might have feelings for you?” Simon teased.
Millie laughed, basically admitting it.
Simon handed her the golf club and said, “Don’t overthink it. Just enjoy yourself.”
The sun was shining on Simon’s face. Suddenly, Millie felt the warmth of his encouraging personality.
Simon patiently showed her how to play. Millie caught on quickly
