Chapter 267
“We were just racing for fun, but now you actually want me to cut off my finger?” Quincy stared at the knife Millie handed him, utterly incredulous.
Millie fluttered her eyelashes and feigned a look of innocence. “Oh, Quincy, that’s not how it works. You can’t just call it ‘for fun‘ now that you lost.”
Quincy was at a loss for words.

Millie immediately added, “It might have been just a game for you, but I gave it my all. Now, stop talking and cut off your finger!”
As she spoke, she tossed the knife to Quincy. If she had lost, he would have humiliated her to no end. But now, he claimed it was just for fun. Why didn’t he mention that before the race?
Millie sized up Quincy, her disdain intensifying. Besides, a man like him, who disrespected women and was driven solely by his base instincts, was getting off lightly with just a finger. She should demand that he cut off his penis!
“You!” Quincy pointed at Millie, fuming with rage. He looked up and tried searching for Matt, but to no
avail.
Python Mountain was WK Club’s territory, after all. Now, an outsider was causing trouble and humiliating Quincy, a member of the club. Was the boss really going to do nothing about it?
Quincy clenched his teeth and tightened his grip on the knife.
At that point, the spectators became increasingly rowdy.
“Quincy, are you scared now?”
“You’re a man, but you’re behaving like a wimp!”
“We lost all our money because of you! You’re a pathetic loser!”
When it came to insults, men truly were the harshest. They didn’t hold back at all.
Millie smirked as she waited for Quincy to cut off his finger. The tension was palpable.
Quincy couldn’t shake the feeling that he was being led to his execution. It seemed like he had no other
choice now.
His chest heaved as he looked at the knife in his hand, a wave of anxiety washing over him. He had to admit it–at that moment, he was afraid. He was dealing with a formidable opponent.
However, what infuriated Quincy the most was that his opponent was a woman. Losing to a woman was a huge blow to his pride. How could he ever hold his head up in the community now?
“Winston, I have to tell you again. Millie has changed a lot since she left you,” Jake whispered in Winston’s
ear.
Winston’s expression was as dark as it could get. Forcing someone to cut off their fingers had always been something Millie would do.
What change was Jake referring to? It was more like she was showing her true colors.

“Her aggression makes her look nothing like an heiress!” Winston mocked coldly.
Jake chuckled upon hearing that. “What are you talking about? It’s a bet, after all, and the loser has to cut off a finger. How is that aggressive? Winston, I think you’re just biased against Millie.”
Winston turned to look at Jake. His expression was far from indifferent. It was a mix of complexity, confusion, and doubt.
“Why are you defending her?” Winston asked, puzzled.
Jake was taken aback.
On the other hand, Winston continued to stare at him coldly. Jake had never acted this way before. He used to be the one who would criticize Millie. So, what had happened to him?
“Am I?” Jake scratched his head. He didn’t realize he was speaking up for Millie. He was merely stating the facts. How was that considered defending Millie?
“Still, you’re just biased against Millie,” Jake repeated.
Winston glared at him and snapped, “Shut up!”
