Quincy was so nervous that sweat started to trickle down his forehead. He gritted his teeth and glared at Millie, “Very well, Millie, this is what you wanted.” 

His tone and gaze brimmed with menace as he continued, “Since you have the guts to go after my finger, I’ll make sure you regret it!” 

Millie narrowed her eyes, understanding that Quincy wasn’t someone who could accept defeat. 

“Pfft! How could he threaten her?” Jake grumbled. 

Quincy tightened his grip on the knife and placed his other hand on the car hood. At that moment, all eyes 

were on him. 

Millie, however, simply leaned against the car with her arms crossed. Her demeanor was indifferent and relaxed. 

While everyone’s attention was on Quincy, Winston’s gaze remained fixed on Millie. He couldn’t believe she dared to do such a thing. Was her previous docility just a facade? 

As Quincy raised his arm, the knife gleamed under the moonlight. But just as it was about to descend, a voice rang out. 

“Who has the nerve to cause trouble at the WK Club?”

Immediately after the words settled, Quincy lifted his head, and his eyes widened in shock. It was his boss and club owner, Luke Hunt! 

Quincy turned around, and sure enough, the club owner had arrived. He was accompanied by a dozen burly men in suits, all of whom looked like bodyguards. 

Matt trailed behind the club owner and shouted, “This is the woman who’s been causing chaos!” 

Luke sized up Millie before bellowing, “Quincy, come here!” 

In an instant, tears welled up in Quincy’s eyes, and his hand holding the knife began to tremble. Luke had finally arrived! Quincy had thought no one would come to his rescue. 

“Boss!” Quincy called out.

He wiped the sweat from his forehead, his legs shaking as he staggered to Luke. If they had come one second later, Quincy might have already wet his pants. 

Then, he turned. With Luke by his side, he felt emboldened. 

The men facing Millie were dressed in black and looked intimidating, while she stood alone, clearly outmatched. 

“What’s going on?” Millie asked in confusion. 

So, Luke got straight to the point. “The race is over. You’re not welcome here anymore.” 

Millie blinked and replied, “But we’ve signed a contract. He has to honor the terms.” 

“Stop pushing your luck!” Luke growled.
