When Millie struggled to come up with an answer, she and Hazel suddenly heard the sound of a vase crashing onto the floor. The loud scream of a woman sliced through the air. 

Winston immediately yanked the room door open and was greeted by a fruit knife sailing across the air. The knife landed by his feet. 

He entered the room and saw Joanna sitting on the bed with messy hair, her eyes red from crying. She appeared to be on the brink of a breakdown.
