Winston tightened his grip on his phone and looked up at Caldwell Villa. He stared at the place for a long while before driving away. 

In the end, he still didn’t respond to the designer’s text. 

When Millie went downstairs for breakfast the next morning, she heard Julia say, “I saw Winston when I came home last night.” 

Millie, calmly eating her breakfast, asked, “Where?” 

“In front of our house.” 

Julia had just finished work when Winston left. She found it odd that he would pass by their villa, so she checked the surveillance footage and saw that his car had been parked at their entrance for nearly half an 

hour. 

“Oh,” Millie responded simply. 

“Everyone’s saying he’s about to get engaged to the Lowells‘ daughter.” 

Julia sipped her coffee and looked at Millie. However, her daughter was unfazed. She continued to eat her sandwich while scrolling through her phone. 

“Best wishes to them,” she replied dismissively. 

Whether Winston got engaged to Joanna or not was irrelevant to Millie. What mattered was that Marvin had just texted her, saying the Aspher was in the country. 

Millie needed to arrange a meeting with the Aspher’s owner as soon as possible. 

Seeing her lack of interest in Winston, Julia silently heaved a sigh of

“Black then.” Millie chose a random color. 

Julia sighed. “People these days seem to only choose black or white. as if everyone has forgotten about other colors! Why not wear 

something with a bit of color? 

She continued, “You know what, I’ll handle your gown for you. You don’t 

need to find someone else to do it.” 

As a designer, Julia couldn’t stand seeing Millie settle for less. 

Millie lifted her head and grinned at her mother. Julia should have said that earlier. She was just waiting for an easy solution. 

“Here’s the plan. Go to Dusk Boutique after work tonight. I’ll have the designer take your measurements,” Julia announced. “That’s settled then. I’m heading to work now.” 

Millie nodded obediently. “Alright, see you tonight.” 

That evening, Millie headed straight to Dusk Boutique after work. 

Located in Yerwick, it was a store run by a 30–year–old designer named Leah Keller. She was a rising star in the fashion world, known for her 

unique creativity and innovative ideas. 

Leah and Julia had crossed paths at a fashion show abroad. Although their design styles were different, they had hit it off well. 

The boutique was located in the heart of Yerwick City, on a lively, popular street packed with luxury sports cars. 

But as soon as a purple Pagani arrived, it caught everyone’s attention. The car was impressive. 

The onlookers were taken aback when Millie stepped out of the car. She wore sunglasses, dressed in a black cropped top, and long black pants. Her hair was casually held back by her sunglasses, giving her an effortlessly cool vibe. 

The door to Dusk Boutique swung open, and a staff member nodded at 

Millie. “Hello.”
