Shouldn't Have Kissed You novel Chapter 4

"Don't I look good in there?"

Chris looked up from his laptop, his eyes moving to where the voice came from.

It was true. She looked beautiful in those photos and he couldn't help but stare at them when they were being taken and even after the shoots and now in his office he was still staring.

He so loved the beauty before him and he even loved the real one now. He smiled at her and pulled her to sit on his lap. She felt good. She was the only one who could take his stress away.

He was tired as far as he was concerned. Tired of his marriage. Tired of his new wife. Tired of fake life that he began to live as from yesterday. Tired of the never ending day today. Tired of his whole life.

She began to rub his shoulder which helped him relax. That's what he wanted. To feel stress free.

"To me," he looked at her, "you'll always be the most beautiful thing in the world."

She smiled at him and stopped what she was doing. He was cute when he was stressed out. She just wanted to be with him. To love him and him alone. But that didn't happen.

For a simple mistake that he made. A mistake that was forgivable cost him his life. His happiness and he couldn't do anything to stop it. She herself couldn't do it.

"Like I don't know," she pecked his lips," so what are you going to call the new line?"

Chris looked at her for a while. He had thought of that for a while and he couldn't come up with a name. The line was about summer clothes with different designs from the normal clothes.

He thought he had time but the pictures have already been taken. So the only thing that was holding them back was the name. The name that he had no idea off.

"How about I just call it, Kimberly?"

She laughed at his joke.

"And why that?" she had to ask even though she could guess his answer.

Chris lifted her chin so that she was gazing at him, "So that the whole world can know that I love only one lady," he pecked her lips once more, "let them know that you're and always be the one."

Kimberly loved the colour of his eyes as he confessed his love for her. She was happy that he loved her. He might be married but his heart belonged to her. Just like the way hers belonged to him.1

She placed her lips on his and kissed him. His lips were soft and a time she couldn't help and wonder if they belonged to the masculine man she knew. They were fighting for domination as they always do and that made her smile which made her to loose. He was the one in control and she loved the way he took control.

Kimberly pulled away when she saw that he wasn't about to, "that was," she looked at him, "as I can remember."2

Chris laughed shaking his head, "You talk as if yesterday on my wedding day we weren't making out in a restroom."7

Kimberly blushed at his words. That was the most daring thing she has ever done in her life. Make out with a just wed man and for that matter in the restroom.1

"Who followed who?" she looked at his hazel eyes.

Chris caressed her cheeks, "I was in need of caress and when I saw the love of my life walk to the restroom, I couldn't help myself."
