　　The new girl turned up on time and Imogen I were quite impressed with her ability to keep up and the way she fluidly moved around the kitchen. Imogen found nothing on her criminal history check.

　　Orion had managed to find us a place so I was waiting for Imogen to come in to swap places with me, so I could finally go see the house. When she was half an hour late though. I gave her a call.

　　Imogen answers after only a few rings and I could hear Baby shark playing in the background on her tablet.

　　" Evie hunny, I'm on my way. I am about an hour out with this traffic, there has been an accident they called it over the radio" she tells me.

　　"Okay, I just wanted to see how far out you are" I told her, looking at the clock. I was going to have to ring them and let them know I would be running late.

　　"I will tell them, I will be late" I tell her when Laura comes out overhearing our conversation.

　　"I can watch the place till Imogen gets here" I pause to see if I should let her, thinking it over, she had only been here a week.

　　"Tell Laura yes, and I won't be long" Imogen says listening in.

　　"You sure you will be right on your own?" I ask her. Her blonde head nodded happily.

　　"Okay we will do that, Is Mara alright with you or do you want me to come grab her when you get here?"

　　"No she is fine, aren't you baby?" She says talking to Mara.

　　"Okay well that's settled, I will see you tonight on close" I tell her hanging up.

　　Turning to face Laura I take my apron off handing it to her. "You sure you will be fine, my number is on the fridge out back if you need me"

　　"Yes everything will be fine, nothing I can't handle" she says looking around at the few customers left from the lunch rush. I nod before grabbing my car keys and going out the back. Orion found a place outside of town, the only sucky thing about it was that it was on the other side of the City. Opposite to Imogen’s place, I was unfamiliar with that side of the city, although it was closer for Ryland for work.

　　Even with navman I still become lost after trying to find the turn off on the highway. When I eventually arrive, I drive in just as I see the furniture store truck leaving. Hopping out of the car, I see that the house is a homely looking cottage with a huge wrap around verandah. Roses gardens wrap around the entire house, with big blooming white buds and I could even see an apple tree with plump looking apples off to the side of the house. I was so busy admiring the place we were going to call home, I didn’t even notice Orion as I drove in. I must have driven past him as the truck drove out.

　　His arms snaking around my waist, pulling me flush against his chest. “You like it?” He whispers, kissing below my ear.

　　“Yes, and Mara will love the roses” I tell him, turning in his arms to face him. I wrap my arms around his neck, kissing him. His hands running down my sides to my ass giving it a squeeze.

　　“Where is Ryland and Thaddeus?”
