As I put on my shoes, there was a knock on my door before it swung open to reveal Luke.

He was wearing a black polo shirt, a navy blue cardigan, black ripped jeans, and his favorite black sneakers.

And he was making it look like the clothes were made for him.

"Ready yet?" He asked as he leaned on the doorframe

"Just gotta put some make up on, and then I'm ready to go" I answered. He then smirked and sat down beside me.

After picking up Dave, we then headed to some fancy hotel where the business dinner was being hosted.

I thought business dinners were just plain the business partners and their families have dinner together.

Right now, however, looked more like a company dinner than the usual business dinner.

"Quick question" I said as I tugged on Luke's cardigan "I thought this was a business dinner. Why does it look like a formal party?"

"Dad's company is hella fancy. This is actually a company dinner and the business dinner thing was just to subtle it down" Luke said as we walked over to the buffet table and Luke poured punch on two glasses before handing one to me "Personally, I think this is just some scheme to make people think that this company is super huge"

I let out a laugh and Luke and I began walking to where mom and Dave were, as they talked to who I'm guessing are other people of this company.

Mom and Dave turned around and smiled as soon as they saw us.

Dave then pulled me and Luke so we could enter their circle

"As you know, this is Luke" Dave introduced "This, on the other hand is Kylie, my new stepdaughter"

"Hello Kylie" the woman gleamed as she shook my hand "It's very nice to meet you. Took a long time before Dave finally settled down huh"

"Oh yeah. He needed a woman" Luke stated, making the four of us to laugh. "Oh, um, is Justin with you guys?"

"Yeah. He's around there somewhere" the woman said as she pointed at the other people mingling with each other "You know how he is"

Luke smiled then faced me

"Come on. I'll introduce you to him" Luke said as he pulled me away from the circle and towards the crowd.

After a couple of searches later, Luke found the Justin guy.

It wasn't really hard to spot him from the crowd because his copper hair stood out.

"Yo. Justin" Luke said, making the guy turn around.

Like Luke, this guy was hella hot as well.

Apart from the bronze hair, he had a nice grayish-blue set of eyes, which made him look even more amazing.

The first one who he saw when he turned around was me before his eyes eventually landed on Luke.

"Hey man" Justin said as he and Luke gave each other some man hug before he turned his attention to me. "New stepsis?"

"Kylie" I said as I offered my hand. He then smirked and took it

"Nice to finally meet you, Kylie" he said as pulled my hand so he could kiss it.

And from the side of my eye, I could see Luke following every single thing that Justin had just done.
