Chapter 386 Apologize 

“Apologize?” Alex sucked in some more smoke before blowing it directly into Jayden’s face. “Do you really think they deserve my apology?” 

His actions shook Rose to her core. Does Alex have a death wish? 

Sure enough, Jayden had enough of Alex’s goading: “Mother******!” he roared before hurling his wine glass at Alex. 

Rose squeezed her eyes shut, too afraid to see what was next. Beside her, Lily and Whitney waited eagerly, anticipating the concussion Alex was going to get. 

Alex simply deflected an incoming glass away with a careless flick of his hand. It hurled back at Jayden, still intact. 

Bang! 

The deflected wine glass hit its mark unerringly and shattered into pieces. 

Jayden’s head was bleeding profusely. 

“You…” 

Everybody was stunned into silence. What the hell did Alex just do? 

Rose, in particular, was staring at Alex with an adoring gaze. 

Wow, I didn’t know Alex is so incredible! He must have learned martial arts! The way he flicked the wine glass away casually was a scene out of an action movie! 

On the other hand, Jayden and Lily were staring at him, dumbfounded. 

Huh, Alex doesn’t seem like a piece of trash at all? 

Jayden was the most surprised. He was a martial arts expert himself. When he saw Alex’s unflappability in the face of danger, he knew instantly the latter was trained in martial arts as well. In fact, he might be even better than Jayden. 

“Honey, call your comrades over to kick Alex’s ass!” cried out Lily furiously. 

What?They want to call for help to take Alex down? 

Rose shook with fear at Lily’s shriek. She tugged on Alex’s sleeves frantically, saying in a timid voice, “Alex, they are calling for backup now. Let’s just run away quickly, okay?” 

“What is there to be afraid of? They are just a couple of vermin. I wouldn’t mind teaching them a lesson. Maybe that will knock some sense into them,” Alex said placidly. 

His swagger made naïve, little Rose swooned with admiration. 

Wow, Alex sure is macho! 

“But you’ll be outnumbered. Are you sure you can defeat all of them? Are you trained in martial arts by any chance?” Rose asked worriedly.

He wouldn’t want to train Rose in martial arts. 

“Alex, don’t you know what era we are living in now? What do you mean by “supporting my husband and caring for my children“? That is so outmoded! We women are just as capable as men!” she huffed, somewhat irritated. 

Jayden grew more and more enraged as he watched the two of them bicker like he wasn’t there. Pulling out his phone, he barked, “Tiger! Gather everyone and come to Sakura Club right now! I wanna teach this b*stard a lesson he won’t forget!” Snarling, he hung up the phone before glaring ferociously at Alex and 

Rose.
