Chapter 448 Did You Just Say He Is A Loser 

“What?” 

Jolene and Peggy gaped at Jack in shock; they thought he was joking. 

“Let me repeat myself. I said our company terminated your contracts,” Jack repeated solemnly. 

Since Alex said there’s an issue with Jolene’s personality, I’m not gonna question that. 

Of course I won’t hire someone Alex doesn’t want. 

“President Sawyer, are you somehow mistaken? Are you really gonna terminate my contract just because of some loser?” Jolene pointed at Alex and was evidently perplexed. 

“Did you just say he’s a loser?” 

Jack chuckled as he said that. Once you know who Mr. Jefferson really is, you’ll pee your pants out of fear. I’m so tempted to tell him the truth. 

“Is he not one? Is he not just a driver?” Jolene stated coldly. 

“Really?” 

Jack mocked, “Well, even a loser can make me terminate your contract. I am formally declaring now that the contract we have just signed is now void. You may take your leave.” 

“You!” 

Jolene was irate as he pointed at Jack and yelled, “President Sawyer, I hope you won’t regret this!” 

She then marched off in a huff. Peggy left shortly after, shooting Alex a purposeful gaze before she left. 

“That lady doesn’t make the cut. She’s like a ticking time bomb that will explode someday and ruin the company’s reputation. It was a good choice letting her go,” Alex stated as he watched Jolene leave. 

“Mr. Jefferson, how did you even come across them?” Jack asked out of curiosity! 

“I went to Lumenopolis a few days ago and met them in a bar…” Alex summarized what happened to Jack. 

Jack shook his head when he heard that. No wonder Alex said there’s an issue with her attitude.. 

She bumped into him first, and yet she asked him to apologize. With a personality like that, she’ll definitely cause a lot of trouble. 

“Even so, Jolene suits the role of the main actress in Galaxy Girls quite well,” Jack sighed. 

Jolene is young, pretty, and very popular. She really is quite a good choice. 

Well, that’s too bad then. 

“Don’t rush the selection process. It’s alright if we delay the premiere of the show because the Ivy Media Group temporarily can’t carry out the filming as well.” 

“Understood.” Jack nodded before he asked, “We’re heading out for lunch. Are you coming?”

Alex shook his head in response. “Nope. I just ate.” 

As he spoke, he headed upstairs. 

However, at that moment, he received a call from Carlene. 

Alex flinched slightly and picked up the call after some hesitation.

After giving it some thought, Alex replied, “I’m at the office. You can come over.”

However, to his surprise, the Bolton Family never uttered a single complaint even when Madison jumped ship despite all the other businesses terminating their contracts with his company.
