After all, she was his apprentice now. Of course, he would teach her how to make the pills. 

Making pills had its own procedure. Before actually making anything, one had to master the hardest part – understanding the properties and usages of each herb. Most failed to master this without at least a few years of experience and learning under their belt. 

However, Auriel was naturally gifted. Alex knew that she would get it all down in half a year if she mind to it. 

“Okay, I’ll start memorizing them once I get back,” Auriel said with a bright smile.

Autumn looked on enviously at Auricl and Alex, who were joking around lightheartedly. She did not dare go over and bother them. 

Alex kept the temperature under control while explaining parts of the pill–making procedure to Auriel, such as why these ingredients could have such incredible properties when mixed. 

Even Tyrael didn’t know half the things Alex was teaching her right now. Auriel paid the utmost attention to what Alex was saying. She felt as if someone had just shown her a whole new world.
