Chapter 461 Market Value
Alex spent the whole day making the pills.
After Autumn and Lexa finished arranging the ingredients, they stood to one side and watched Alex as he worked.
They were pretty much watching for fun though.
After all, the layman enjoys the show while the connoisseur recognizes the artistry.
They were both pretty much clueless about ancient medicine, let alone something as advanced as alchemy.
They both still watched for their own personal reasons despite their cluelessness.
Flynn had ordered lunch to be brought to them. Happy Living wasn’t too far away from here, but he knew how occupied Alex was whenever he made pills. There was no way he could leave to eat, so food had to be brought to him.
After setting the table, they started eating in the pharmacy itself.
“We sold all those Pills of Regeneration you made last time. Maybe you should make some more,” Flynn suggested with a smile.
“How much were they sold for?” Alex asked.
#
“One million per pill. They were pretty popular, actually.” Flynn chuckled.
One million per pill?
The ladies at the table were taken aback. These pills sure make a lot of money.
“If those regular pills can sell for a million per pill, then this Pill of Longevity would probably sell for tens, maybe hundreds of millions,” Alex said in shock.
This Pill of Longevity he was currently making could add about ten years to one’s life. They might even sell for a billion if marketed to CEOs and chairmen.
Alex was a bit new to the market.
“Of course. Even if it only added one extra year of life, it would still sell for maybe fifty million, let alone ten years,” Flynn replied.
Ten years of life?
Autumn and Lexa’s eyes widened. This is practically magic!
“Mr. J–Jefferson, did you just say this pill of yours can add ten years to someone’s life?” Autumn asked excitedly.
She finally understood why her own father was so in awe of Mr. Jefferson and even willing to use her to bridge the gap between them.
“Yeah. How much do you think a Pill of Longevity would sell for?” Alex asked curiously.

Since Autumn’s grandfather owned an herb pharmacy business, he felt like Autumn would know some things about the market as well.
“If it really can add ten years of life, then it can sell for 500 million or even a billion!” Autumn said confidently.
“Are pills really that expensive these days?” Alex asked with a surprised chuckle.
“Of course, Master! Even an expert such as my grandfather doesn’t know alchemy. This skill of yours is probably incomparable. You don’t know how many people out there want to buy pills that you created, and yet, there’s no market for it yet,” Auriel answered.
“I see.” Alex nodded. He had learned alchemy from the Nine Heaven Scrolls, and it was understandable that the knowledge of such old scrolls had gotten lost over time.
