Chapter 632 Jealousy 

Alex’s secretary, Liana seductively walked towards them. 

“Mr. Jefferson, I made some soup for you. I’ve boiled it since I got off from work, and it took me almost two hours! I heard that you’ll be here and I want to give it to you personally.” Liana showed him a thermos flask. 

As she got closer to Alex, only then did she notice Carlene who was beside him. 

She looked exactly like the person printed on the billboard. Almost immediately, Liana was able to guess who she was. 

She must be the singer recently taken in by the Four Seas Corporation. 

In the meantime, Carlene was also staring at her. Their gazes locked as sparks kindled. 

As women, they both knew what each other were thinking. 

They were sizing up each other, but they could not tell who was more superior. Finally, Liana gave Carlene one last stare before shifting her attention to Alex. 

“That won’t be necessary. I’m having dinner with Carlene. You should have it yourself. It’s been a long day for you. You should get some rest too.” Alex rejected her gesture.

While he got into the driver’s seat, Carlene hopped into the passenger seat. 

Liana was jealous of the two. She was not willing to concede defeat. Without asking, she entered the backseat of the car. 

She shamelessly asked, “Mr. Jefferson, I’ve been busy preparing the soup for you. So, I have yet to have my dinner. Can I join you guys?” 

Alex could not bring himself to reject her request. Since she wanted to join, it would be unreasonable to chase her out of the car. 

Carlene, who was seated at the passenger seat was displeased. Her chest began heaving rapidly, clearly 

out! So annoying! 

As a clueless man, Alex was oblivious to the apparent uneasiness between the two ladies.
