Chapter 889 Betrayal 

Like a bootlicker, Stannis quickly walked behind Jared and Magnus as he uttered, “Sirs, this is the Alex I was telling you about. Is he the one you’re looking for?” 

Jared nodded. It was his first time seeing Alex, but he could figure out that the man before him was the one he was searching for by just looking at his expression. 

Once the trio reached Alex, Jared and Maghus began studying Alex from head to toe. The man in his twenties seemed ordinary, and they would have never thought that he would dare to go up against the Wallace family of Lumenopolis. 

“You must be the one who has been standing in my way again and again,” Jared started. 

Not only did Alex threaten him on call, but he even destroyed two of his bases. It was essentially an attempt on his life for Jared, so he was furious. 

“So what? Doing such despicable deeds as one of the prominent families of Lumenopolis in the shadows should be something unforgivable. I was merely delivering justice,” Alex said, completely unbothered.
