Chapter 957 Hold My Younger Sister 

Hearing Stanley’s silly words, Alex and Flynn shared a look before bursting into laughter. 

However, they had to admit that Emmalyn was an adorable child. Her delicate features bore a resemblance to Kate, yet she also carried a hint of Alex’s overall appearance. 

She had a plumpness to her, reminiscent of the dolls being sold in the market. There was no denying her irresistible charm and ability to capture everyone else’s attention. 

Emmalyn had no idea why the adults suddenly started laughing. Taken aback by their sudden laughter, she pouted and burst into wails. 

Stanley finally realized that the little girl in his father’s arms was a real baby and not a doll when he saw her crying. 

“Daddy, she’s so cute! Can I hug her?” Stanley asked. He pitied the crying little girl and had the urge to soothe her feelings. 

“Stanley, Emmalyn is quite heavy. Are you confident you can hold her securely without. letting her slip?” Alex inquired, his concern apparent. After all, Stanley was merely six years old and might not be strong enough to hold a baby. 

Stanley gave a firm nod and swore, “I swear I won’t drop her. Daddy, can I hold her now?” 

Alex was still hesitant. However, he quickly recalled that he was in the Master Realm. Even if Stanley struggled to hold Emmalyn, Alex had the reflexes to catch her before she hit the ground. 

“Just make sure to hold Emmalyn securely,” Alex reminded, carefully placing Emmalyn in Stanley’s arms. 

Emmalyn continued sobbing, visibly shaken from the shock. Her wide-open mouth revealed her single tooth as tears streamed down her face. 

Stanley struggled to maintain his grip on her. A cold sweat formed on his forehead as he realized the little girl’s cries showed no signs of subsiding. 

“Stop crying, okay? I promise I’ll share my snacks with you. Please stop crying, okay?” Stanley coaxed her patiently. Despite failing to calm her down, he didn’t lose his patience. 

Alex felt pleased as he observed Stanley’s determination. Despite being only six years old, Stanley displayed both obedience and responsibility. He managed to hold on even though it was hard. 

Thus, Alex harbored confidence that Stanley would grow into an adult who surpassed him in 

capability and responsibility 

Right then, Kate walked out of the kitchen with the reheated dishes. She felt her heart clench at the sight of Stanley holding her daughter 

Emmalyn was still weeping, so she immediately assumed Stanley had bullied her daughter on purpose 

Kate had no idea Alex would allow his son to bully her daughter. She never liked Stanley in the first place, so the sight of her crying daughter in his arms infuriated her.
