Son-In-Law Gets an Upgrade novel Chapter 999

Chapter 999 The Transaction Was Successful

She had been busy the entire afternoon, diligently serving tea and making efforts to persuade the man to make a purchase. However, all her efforts proved to be in vain as he left without buying anything.

Kiara’s mood went from sky-high to rock bottom. Frustration kicked in, but she could not vent openly. She could only look at the middle-aged man’s departing figure and muttered curses under her breath. “I thought he was a big shot, but he wouldn’t even spend five million. Who does he think he is, trying to hav a mistress like those wealthy men? He deserves to stay bald for the rest of his life!”

As soon as she turned around, she noticed Yannie was looking at her. Instantly, her temper flared up, and she snapped at the woman. “What are you staring at? Do I look like a joke to you? You think you can seal the deal when I couldn’t?”

Yannie gave her the cold shoulder. Holding the card Alex gave her, she proceeded with the real estate contract. She was never the type to add insult to injury, so she refrained from taunting Kiara.

Being ignored once again by someone she had always looked down upon, Kiara got even more frustrated. Since I couldn’t seal the deal, let’s see how Yannie makes a fool of yourself!

She could not fathom how someone like Alex, who did not possess any branded goods, could afford a twenty-five million house. Does that mean Yannie will pocket a profit of three hundred thousand if she manages to

sell the unit?

Kiara could not help but burst into laughter at the thought of Alex’s pathetic appearance. It would be a miracle if he could afford a seventy-square-meter apartment, let alone the best villa in Del Costa.

Kiara crossed her arms and caught up with Yannie, eager to witness how the latter would embarrass herself.

When Yannie returned with the purchase contract, she noticed Kiara was following right behind. Though her expression darkened for a moment, she chose to ignore her.

She then extended a smile and handed the contract to Alex. “Please review the contract carefully. If you’re satisfied with the terms and conditions, we can proceed with the payment.”

Kiara rolled her eyes in disdain and mocked, “Yannic, I’m embarrassed to even be working with someone as foolish as you. It’s obvious they’re here to create trouble, yet you actually brought the contract over. I don’t even know what to say to you.”

Yannie took in a deep breath, trying to regain her composure. She turned around and glared daggers at Kiara, who constantly caused trouble for her. “What makes you think my client can’t afford it? Even if they can’t afford it, it’s none of your business, right? Let’s not forget the man you thought could afford a house didn’t even end up making the purchase.”

Kiara scoffed in contempt, adding, “Since you believe your client can afford the house, why don’t you ask him to pay with his credit card?”

Yannie glanced at Alex and bit her lip, not knowing what to say.

The usually mild-mannered Jessica, who had been listening to the conversation, could not contain her anger at Kiara’s cutting and sarcastic comments: At that moment, she forgot to intervene and prevent Alex from purchasing the expensive villa for her.

The Transaction Was Successful

Alex gave Kiara a cold glance, his eyes filled with indifference as if he was observing a clown.

He spoke in a calm tone. “The password is six zeros.
