Emily didn’t want to waste time on her. She came here for only one purpose, to find Sebastian.
She turned to go to the elevator. Anyway, she could search each floor until she saw him. Seeing Emily like that, the receptionist immediately called for help.
“Lady, Mr. Clark is not in the company now. If you want to see him, you’d better go through normal procedures.”
The woman who came to stop her was a manager. She was so tall that she almost blocked Emily’s view.
After that, several security guards trotted over with sticks in their hands. They all looked at her fiercely, for fear that she would rush upstairs directly.
This made Emily sure that Sebastian was upstairs, but she couldn’t confront the tough with toughness, because there were too many people in front of her.
Then she said in a much softer tone, “I come to see Mr. Clark today for our private affairs…”
Before Emily could finish speaking, that manager said, “I’m Zara, the director here. Lady, if you need something, you can tell me.”
With Emily’s personality, she could go ahead regardless of everything if she felt forced.
There were so many people in the hall, but she didn’t feel ashamed at all and asked, “Who are you? How dare you make decisions for Mr. Clark’s private life?”
Zara blushed and was rendered speechless. This matter was not up to her at all.
“I'm pregnant with Mr. Clark’s baby. Let me go upstairs immediately.” Since Emily had decided to go ahead regardless of everything, and now that circumstances were favorable, she didn’t mind disclosing more.
“Mr. Clark is not this kind of person. Don’t talk nonsense here. Who is this bitch? She must be lying. The story you make up is stereotyped.”
Some employees of Seaview Properties stood out to defend their boss against the rumor. In their eyes, their boss was handsome and charming, so not everyone could play up to him.
Emily was really beautiful, but she was too gaudy and foxy. No man from a powerful family and notability would marry this kind of woman.
Emily didn’t care about how others thought of her. As long as she wanted, no one could stop her.
