Speed Candles novel Chapter 18

Sebastian, who was fierce looking just now, suddenly stopped. He could almost kill her and avoid future trouble.

After loosening his grip, Emily held the sofa and gulped. She was thrown into a panic.

After one minute, she felt painful, and showed a hollow laugh, “Don’t you want to kill me?”

Sebastian gritted his teeth, “What do you want?”

What she wanted was as crystal clear already.

“Doesn’t Mr. Clark know that already?”

He pulled the corner of his mouth, looked at Emily in a ferocious look, and then said, “You’ll never get it.”

“You killed your father and was put in prison for two years. Then you take advantage of me to revenge on your stepmother and half-sister. Now, you want me to marry you? Do you think I’m a fool or too naive to know nothing and let you jerk me around?”

He deliberately lengthened the final sound. His words made her nervous and panic-stricken and even broke out in a cold sweat.

Two years ago, he was there too. Emily was in bed with him all night long. Unless she could separate herself into two persons, otherwise, she couldn’t do those things.

Emily stood up with her hands on the sofa. She stared at Sebastian. She could feel his hatred and anger overflowing from his eyes, hurting her self-esteem, scraping her face.

She unconsciously smiled and glanced at the good-looking but fierce man in front of her, “Then I have to bother Mrs. Clark to meet with me. I can’t have my baby born without a father.”

“How dare you?” Sebastian glared at her and said fiercely, “If you do that, I will let you disappear in C City.”

“Of course, you can. But don’t forget I have the photos taken that night in M Restaurant.”

Emily finished speaking very firmly, and then threw the door closed and left.

The thin heels of her shoes touched the floor, making clear sounds. Sebastian clenched his fist and hit the desk, making a huge sound.

Hope went in. He pursed his lips tightly, maintaining a fist-clenched posture and striding toward the door.

“Mr. Clark, Miss Morris has already left.”

He suddenly stopped, gritted his teeth, and ordered, “Send someone to follow her all day, and report to me at any time if something happens.”

Emily went downstairs and stood in front of the door for a while. A silvery-grey Porsche came to her, which was still the old model three years ago, but because of the excellent maintenance of the owner, the car was shiny.

Seeing the 666 on the license plate, Emily knew it was Ewan’s car.

The car was driven past her and stopped one meter later. The familiar smell and figure made her mind messy.

In the beginning, Ewan chose this car because of her, but now everything had changed.

Emily wanted to take a few steps around and hide behind the big jade pillar beside her, but Ewan got out of the car and saw her first.

Now he was no longer the young boy a few years ago, he had changed into a well-dressed, mature, and charming man.”

“Emily, what are you doing here?” He asked in confusion.

Emily never thought she was a nice person, but at the thought of what happened between Ewan and Sabrina, she felt disgusted and wanted to slap him in the face.

She turned around and smiled with a hint of indifference, “You can come here. Why can’t I?”
