Those who were busy with their work were astonished by this crisp sound in the quiet waiting room.
Emily used her full strength to slap on Sabrina’s face. There were signs of redness and swelling on her cheek. Sabrina covered her face with her hands and turned her head in shock, “Emily Morris, what gives you the right to hit me?!”
Seeing this, someone questioned, “How can you hit the lady!"
Emily bluntly said, “Because of your shamelessness and sloppy behavior; because you slept with my boyfriend when you call yourself my best friend!”
Emily wasn’t trying to condemn Sabrina’s fault in public or vent her anger. She just felt that she wasted her sincerity on someone unworthy.
Hearing this, those around them looked at each other, and no one came out to speak for Sabrina anymore.
Sabrina didn’t expect Emily to be so straightforward and ruthless. She raised her hand in anger to hit Emily back. Emily took two steps back to avoid it, but her left cheek was still scratched in bloodstains by Sabrina’s nails.
The girls around them were worried about the conflict might ruin the interview. Someone came out to drag Sabrina to keep her away from Emily. Sabrina smirked and said, “Hah, what a saint you are! You are just jealous to see your sister marrying a wealthy man. And you jumped on your brother-in-law...”
“This is Dier, not some Sunday market. Please get out if you need a fight.” The door of the waiting room was opened from the other side and a woman walked in and said to the crowd. It’s Miss Hope Hart, she was the senior assistant of the President of Dier and was also known as the iron lady of the business world. She was in charge of the interview.
Hope was in a designer suit and on two inches heels, which supported her professional temperament. She cast a glance at Emily and Sabrina, then announced in clam, “Number 4, Liam Smith; Number 5, Noah Johnson; Number 6, Emily Morris; and Number 7, Oliver Williams, please come with me.”
