Janet eventually felt less disheartened.

“Mm, you’re right, but I’ve forgotten how to show my charm. How about you teach me!”

Nell was not afraid of being stimulated. She responded, “Okay, I’m not afraid even if I have to go through severe trials; I’m doing this for my sis’ happiness. Wait for a second, I’ll hang up and make a video call.”

She hung up and did what she said, and they were soon connected again.

On the other end, Janet hugged her arms and leaned against the washbasin as she watched Nell funnily.

“Sis, let’s go! Please start performing.”

The two of them grew up together, hence they were already used to not having an image in front of each other.

Nell was not afraid at all; she put her phone on the bookshelf, and she began performing in front of it.

She started with some disgusting and exaggerated lines from prime-time shows, as well as some pickup lines.

As Nell recited the lines, which she was so familiar with, she did not notice that the door to her room was slowly being opened.

Gideon had gotten off work, and he heard that Nell was already home, so he went upstairs while he undid his tie.

Who knew, he was greeted with such a scene as soon as he opened the door.

Under the dim yellow light, a lady in pajamas was seen caressing herself in front of the bookshelf.

She twisted her slim waist while she touched her body, and she even recited some lines.

For example, Nell quoted, “You’re my dearest, you’re my darling, you’re three-quarters of my life.

“Without you, it’s like darkness losing light or a fish losing water; life is meaningless.

“I love you like a flying moth darting into a flame, your heart is where I want to go to the most…”

In the video, Janet was immersed in the show at first.

At one point, she started to look a bit strange.

Nell noticed that Janet was distracted, so she stopped and remarked unhappily, “Hey, Miss Hancock, I’m putting so much effort into my performance, so can you please focus and respect me?”

Janet smiled embarrassedly.

“Nelly, do you… Have a new boyfriend?”

“How did you know?”

Janet pointed behind Nell.

Nell froze at once.

She looked at the bottom right corner of her screen.

Immediately, her pupils enlarged, and she remained stiff on the spot, as though she was struck by lightning.

Gideon was holding his coat in one hand, and his tie in the other. He stood tall behind her.

The man smirked and teased her with his eyes. He simply stared at her without moving an inch.

Nell suddenly had the urge to die!

She immediately ended the video call and turned around to glare at Gideon.

Gideon held back his laughter, then he placed his coat and tie on the chair beside him before he approached Nell.

“Dear, I didn’t think you’d miss me so much when I’m not at home.”

Nell pouted her lips and almost cried because she was too mad.

“Gideon, why didn’t you knock before you came in?”

Gideon raised his eyebrow in confusion. “This is my house, and we’re married, so there’s nothing I can’t see. Why should I knock?”

Nell. “...”
