As he said that, he pointed over at Lucy Katz.
Lucy stared blankly at him. Since her mouth was still gagged, she could not respond in any way.
Fourth Cecil’s heart sank.
“So, you mean…”
The tattooed man put his arm over Fourth Cecil’s shoulder as he chuckled. “Brother, I don’t mean to offend you, but you’re too soft. That entire family has disowned you, and your wife has been racking her brains just to get a divorce with you. And you still don’t want to let go of your past love? Why are you even bothering with all that?”
Hearing that statement, Lucy nearly puked.
Not wanting to let go of his past love?
More like not wanting to let go of all that money!
However, despite how funny that statement was to Lucy, Fourth Cecil seemed quite happy when he heard that.
He chuckled and said, “Well, marriage lasts ‘til death do us part. If this brat even calls me ‘dad’ just once, there’s no way I can be so merciless, right?”
At that sappy statement, a sneer flashed on his face for a brief moment.
However, he started to put on an impressed look.
“At the end of the day, I can see that you’re a loyal man! But bro, open your eyes and look at the situation you’re in. You’ve kidnapped this brat kidnapped and brought her all the way here. If you let her go, do you think she’ll let you go free?”
As the tattooed man said that, Fourth Cecil started to deliberate.
He had bullied the Katz family for too many years. However, over the years, not only had Lucy Katz made a name for herself, but she also had her own financial and social power now. She was no longer the little brat that he could easily control from back in the day.
Yet, at the end of the day, he still had a valid wedding certificate between him and Mama Katz. In name, he was still a legal guardian for Lucy Katz.
With that in mind, he was not afraid of Lucy disobeying him since he still had Mama Katz.
Maybe it had become a habit over the years, but he eventually started to feel like Lucy would always listen to him obediently no matter what he does.
Hence, even when he had kidnapped her, never in his wildest dreams would he have imagined that Lucy would seek revenge for his actions.
The tattooed man was stunned by his persistent hesitance. Patting Fourth Cecil on his back, he chuckled.
“You better mull over this carefully. Either way, we’re just in it for the money, we couldn’t care less about how you wish to deal with her.”
As soon as the tattooed man said that, he walked back outside with his crew.
Fourth Cecil stood there for a moment as his heart sank.
He turned around and took a glance at the tied up Lucy. A sinister look appeared on his face.
Squatting down, he yanked out the rag that was gagging her in the mouth.
“FOURTH CECIL! HAVE YOU GONE F*CKING MAD?! Do you not understand what you’re doing right now? Hurry up and let me go!”
Now that Lucy can finally speak, she instantly shouted out loud.
Looking at her, the sinister look on his face tensed up even more.
A moment later, he coldly spat, “Stop shouting. No matter how hard you try, no one will be able to hear your screams.”
Upon hearing that, Lucy’s heart sank.
At this point, her already-pale face had lost all color.
She looked at Fourth Cecil, not wanting to believe his words. “Where is this place? Why did you bring me here?”
Fourth Cecil just stuffed a biscuit into her mouth and said, “Stop asking questions. Even if you ask, I won’t tell you. Now eat and drink while you can, when you’re finished you’re heading off.”
Lucy’s body stiffened as she frantically spat out the biscuits he had stuffed in his mouth.
