Spoiled by the President novel Chapter 983

With both Gideon and Nell present, Mr. Donnelly did not dare to tarry.

The hotel they booked was the largest and most luxurious hotel in Country T.

After the group entered, Nell paid special attention, and when she found that Cathy and Sean’s room was right next to her’s, she knew that it must have been specially arranged by Mr. Donnelly. Her heart could not help but feel grateful.

Jean’s room was on the other side, but she did not like seeing Gideon every day, so it worked out in her favor.

Once they had put aside their luggage, the group went out to eat.

Since Nell was pregnant now, she had an excellent appetite and easily got hungry within two hours.

Gideon often prepared little snacks for her to eat. People would think that a president’s briefcase would be filled with business contracts that were worth hundreds of billions.

Yet they would never imagine that the president’s briefcase would be full of chocolates and crabstick filaments.

Nell took the snack that Gideon was handing over and took a bite. She said contentedly, “It’s the best when there’s something to eat.”

Cathy, who sat opposite her, smiled. “You’re pregnant now so you’ll get hungry easily, but you also have to pay attention. Some things are delicious but you can’t eat too much of it, lest the child’s head enlarges. It’ll make the birthing process difficult.”

Nell grinned and nodded. “Okay, Mom. I know.”

Then, she really did put the snacks back into the briefcase and stopped eating them.

Upon seeing this, Gideon poured her a glass of water.

“Drink some water.”

“Okay.”

Nell took the glass and sipped on it.

At that moment, Mr. Donnelly came over.

He said respectfully with a smile, “President Leith, Mrs. Leith, Doctor Miller, Ms. Morrison, Ms. Leith, I’ve ordered the most authentic cuisine today. If you try it later and don’t find them to your liking, I’ll have them changed.”

Cathy smiled. “Brother Donnelly, sorry to trouble you.”

Mr. Donnelly laughed. “It’s no trouble, no trouble at all. You’re not familiar with this area, but I come here often because of business. I come here at least five or six times a year and sometimes I even have to stay here for half a year to keep an eye on the mine.”

Nell drank some water and mused, “How long have you been in the jade mining business?”

Mr. Donnelly still had his smile on when he said, “There used to be more mines in Country T, but in recent years, it’s been overmined badly and so there aren’t many good mines left.”

Then, as if he was afraid that they would be worried, he quickly added.

“However, I guarantee that the mine I’m taking you to is one of the best-discovered ones in the past ten years. I haven’t told anyone else about it. I’ve only told Ms. Leith when she came over. It must be fate.”

Jean was rarely complimented by others, hence immediately, she smiled so wide that her eyes could no longer be seen.

“Of course, I’ve been in this business for many years. That’s not an exaggeration. If nothing else, my luck and vision is one-of-a-kind. No one can compare to it.”

Nell pursed her lips and smiled while Gideon remained silent as he could not be bothered to burst Jean’s bubble as well.

Only Cathy praised her honestly. “Really? Ms. Leith is really capable.”

Grinning, Jean waved her hand. “You flatter me. It’s nothing remarkable.”

Soon, the waiter started serving the dishes.

Sure enough, all kinds of exquisite dishes were presented on the table like beautiful works of art. Just the fragrance alone was enough to make people drool.

At the aroma, Nell’s appetite acted up and she quickly picked up her chopsticks to start eating.
