Chapter 112
Larissa loaked back from the rear window of the car. She couldn’t see Yvette or anyone else.
Then, she leaned back in her seal. Slowly her pounding heart rate returned to normal. Then, she asked, “Why are you here?”
“I was passing by,” Kevan replied indifferently.
Larissacient be. eve him. “You were waiting for me. Why? How did you know I would come out from the back?”
SUL Kevan insisted, “I just happened to pass by.”
Larissa pursed her lips and stared at him as if trying to lind an answer. However, Kevan didn’t seem to care about her gaze and looked at the front steadily.
Soon, they drove into Foxtail Garden. Once again, Larissa leaned against the car window, I was as quiet as it usually was, and there wasn’t a single soul on the street. When the car drove through the leaves, it made a crisp sound.
Then, she saw a strange car parked below their building. The end of the car faced the road, and it was hard to figure out if somecre was in the car, making Larissa nervous.
Kevan stopped their car beside the strange car and tumed off the engine. Larissa didn’t move and stared out of the window, trying to hear any commotion from the car next to theirs.
He followed her gaze and looked over. He raised a brow and asked, “That’s a new car I brought. Do you like it?”
“Huh? Larissa quickly bumed to look at him with shock T–This is your car?”
Kevan took out a set of car keys from the glove compartment and pressed a button on them. The other car’s lights birked, and there was a beeping sound.
At that moment. Larissa felt as if all her energy was drained away, and her shoulders dropped. She sat weakly and wiped away the cold sweat on her forehead. It turned out to be a false alarm.
“I thought Larissa quickly realized something wrong and chuckled.
She changed her mind and said. “This car looks good.”
It must be expensive.
“Do you like it?” Kevan asked again. It was a five–million–dollar Rolls–Royce. It was hard to find someone who would dislike IL
Larissa nodded, “Yes.”
Then, Kevan gave her the car keys. “It’s yours.”
Larissa thought she had misheard or that Kevan must be crazy. After a few seconds of shock, she quickly retumed the keys to him.
“This is Ico expensive. I can’t accept it.”
Kevan didn’t take the keys and said. “It’s just a car,”
His tone made Larissa think they were simply talking about buying groceries.
