Chapter 707
Larissa had a headache. She wasn’t good at handling this sort of thing. Allen did not even confess to her. Thus, she didn’t have the
opportunity to even reject him.
Im not mad, there’s no need to apologize.”
“Since I’m taking ever a new role, fll be too busy to meet up.”
From her message, it was obvious that Larissa was trying to create some distance between them.
After a long while, Alen finally replied. “Text me when you reach home.”
Larissa turned off her phone and shut her latigued eyes.
Lewis asked out of concern. “Do you need me to handle this for you?”
In shock, Larissa woke up and waved her hands. ‘There’s no need!” She did not want to bother Lewis with such a trivial matter, Lewis glanced at her and said. “Il you need my help, just ask for it.”
When they arrived at the hospital, it was already very late, and Larissa’s attending coctor had already left. Seeing Larissa, some of the nurses who were acquainted with her gave her a warm welcome.
“Why did you return so late at night?”
“Dr. John has been worried sick about you! He was concerned that you might not be able to make it for your rehabilitaticr
“By the locks of your gait your leg is almost fully recovered. It wouldn’t take long for you to be discharged.”
“What a shame! After you leave the hospital we won’t be able to see that tall handsome man anymore!”
The tal and handsome man they were referring to wasn’t Lewis, as they all knew his name. The other tall and handsome person who appeared in her ward could only be Kevan.
“Did you fly back to meet him?”
“Wow! You few thousands of miles just to meet your beloved. That’s so romantic?
“Did you two do the deed yet?”
“How is his technique?
“Take it easy, as your leg is still not yet fully recovered!”
Aldovians were very open–minded about stuff in the bedroom. The nurses talked about it without even blushing red.
Larissa was unable to answer their questions and quickly slammered an excuse before lleeing the scene.
When she entered the ward, her phone rang. The person calling her was the fall and handsome man referred to by the nurses. Larissa’s throat tightened inexplicably when she remembered the embarrassing questions that she was bombarded with just now,
“Hello?” Her voice shook when she picked up the call,
Kevan noticed something off about Larissa’s voice and asked anulously. “What’s wrong?”
“It’s nothing. I hit my hand just now.” Larissa chuckled dryly
“Does it hurt?”
“For a moment, but I’m line now.”
Kean’s voice returned to his usual calm and composed lone, “Are you back at the hospital?”
“Yes.”
