When Larissa entered the apartment, Wendy and Aster were screaming together. They were hugging each other for some reason. It nearly blew Larissa’s eardrums out 

Larissa turned on the lights. The warm yellow color lit up the space at once. 

“What on earth are you doing at this time of the night instead of sleeping?” Larissa frowned. “Did you see a ghost or something?” 

Seeing that it was Larissa, Wendy and Aster let out a sigh of reliel. They let go of each other. 

“I was watching Koman” with your son.” Wendy’s heart was still pounding, was so scary! I almost died because of it

“Sit here. I’ll help you with your shoes. Kevan helped Larissa to sit on the stool at the entrance hall. Just as he was about to crouch down. a little figure shot to his side and hugged his leg as he shouted, “Daddy!” 

Kevan turned to smile at Aster. “Wait first. Daddy will help Mommy change into her slippers.” 

“Fine.” Aster pouted and stopped aside. 

Larissa, who had been ignored, glared at Aster. She huffed and complained. “I was here for so long, and you didn’t even say hi!” 

Aster threw himself at her with a huge smile on his face. 

Larissa pretended to push him away and looked unhappy. “You only love your daddy now. You don’t care about Mommy anymore.” 

“No way!” Aster hugged her neck. He refused to let go no matter how Larissa tried to peel him off of her. “I love Mommy the most!” He tumed to plant a wel kiss on her cheek. “I got scared earlier, so I didn’t react last enough. Mommy, don’t get mad at me!” 

Larissa squished Aster’s lace. She hulled, though the softness of his cheeks made her reluctant to stop. 

While Aster and Larissa were speaking, Kevan was on one knee in front of Larissa. He helped her take off the fats that she was wearing. They were from his car, and they just so happened to be the right size. 

Wendy came over when she smelled the medicine on her. She saw Larissa’s swollen ankle. “Why is your leg injured again?” 

“What? Whose leg is injured? Aster was more agitated than anyone else. 

Wendy jerked her chin at Larissa and said, “Who else? Your clumsy mommy of course!” 

Aster crawled down from Larissa’s body, and when he saw her ankle, he started crying 

He crouched next to Larissa, reaching out like he was going to touch the swollen bit. But he pulled back again because he was scared of
