“Apologies, Ms. Seymour.” Despite the supposed apology, the person’s tone was haughty. “After the episode in 

which your in–laws appeared went viral, our production team has been getting more than ten calls per day. 

Our schedules are now fully packed till the end of the year. If you don’t mind being aired late, I can make a 

registration for you. Someone will inform you of your shooting date by then.” 

Larissa knew all too well that she had offended the whole production crew with her harsh words then, so their deliberately difficult attitude was to be expected. 

“No need for the trouble,” she said. She only meant to try her luck by making this call. If it did work, then it would be for the best; but if it didn’t, she still had an alternative. 

Working in hotel management may be difficult, but the best part about it was accumulating a network of connections she could reach out to–especially at a seven–star hotel like the Regal Dynasty where most of its guests were boss–level players. 

Larissa made another call. “You have a livestream tomorrow, right? Can I borrow around an hour of your time after that?” 

Zero used to be a member of the famous national e–sports team, Quickstrike Archangels, and she was one of the earliest professional female e–sports players to get into the business. During the peak of her career, she once led the Quickstrike Archangels to several international championship victories and was a role model for 

the active players now. 

After she retired from the e–sports scene, she signed with StreamWave Studios and became a streamer, gaining tens of millions of fans with her great gaming skills and humor. She was always top in all 

leaderboards and was the undoubted A–Queen on Twitch. 

Larissa met Zero three years ago when the Quickstrike Archangels came to Covenford to participate in a tournament. The organizers of the tournament had arranged for them to stay in the Regal Dynasty. But the 

reason for their closeness was a complete accident- 

Zero had lost her lucky ear stud in her room, and the janitor who cleaned the room swore that she had never seen it. The tournament was around the corner, and this girl, who fans jokingly called “Bro Zero” due to her tomboyish attitude, actually hid and cried till her eyes were swollen. She even thought of quitting the tournament, turning a blind ear to anyone’s advice. 

In the end, it was Larissa who crawled on the floor on all fours and searched her room for a day before finding that tiny obsidian ear stud between the seams of the carpet.

But Zero was too busy training, so even though they had each other’s contact numbers, they rarely called each other. Last year, Zero moved to Covenford due to work purposes, only then did they communicate much more frequently online. Larissa even gifted her a 100 Tier 2 Gift Sub for her Twitch the first time she streamed, which cost around a thousand dollars.

Travis nagged her for almost a month over this. 

This time, Zero was actually the one who reached out to her first. 

The online viewership of that episode of “The Mediators Room” continued to increase on a daily basis, reaching millions of views, and the discussion and engagement surrounding it remained high. Hence, Zero naturally heard about it. 

When she found out that the person getting reviled was her Lady Luck, she immediately contacted Larissa and asked, “Do you need me to set the record straight for you?”
