Larissa was already prepared to intercept her and counterattack. Suddenly, someone bumped into her, causing her to stumble to the side.

Larissa turned to look in disbelief. Marilyn wasn’t originally in range of Nina’s slap, but somehow, she was now standing in Larissa’s previous position. She held her cheek with her head turned to one side. 

Larissa rushed to Marilyn and asked. “Marlyn, are you okay?” 

Marilyn’s eyes were red and glistening with tears. No one knew whether it was due to pain or grievance. She forced out a smile and comforted Larissa. “I’m fine.” Rubbing her cheek, she faced Nina in her usual reserved manner.

“You have two minutes to get out of here. If anyone is still here when the lime is up. I will call the police. I believe this is good enough evidence,” Marilyn said, pointing to the red mark on her cheek. 

Marilyn was Gary’s spokesperson, so she was highly respected among the employees in the presidential office. In addition, Nina knew that Marilyn had the upper hand. Although Nina was reluctant, she led the group away dejectedly. 

Before they let the conference room, Nina threatened Larissa, “Everyone in our department is leaving, so all the operations in the presidential office will come to a halt. Mr. Logan Junior will regret it sooner or later! Let’s see how long you can remain smua!”
